The files on Garageband.com are mp3s with CGI arguments that enable the system to find the file in question. Here is a test of one, attempting to get it recognized as an "enclosure" by a piece of software that will check podcast sites However, this is a little different from the way that most podcasts provide MP3 files, hence my experiments.
